A bit of my life in few lines
Hi,
My name is Franck. I was born in 1977, in the western suburb of Paris, France.
I’m passionate about surfing, traveling, shooting and making surf video, taking photos, i love tattoos and cats.
I started skateboarding in 1987 when i was around 10 years old.
later, in 1994, at age 17, i discovered surfing. I started to ride my first waves on the spot of La Torche in Britany.
At that time, it was the beginning of the first skate and surf videos, i was passionate about it and it was while watching Taylor Steele’s surf videos that I had the desire to make them myself.
In 1996/1997, i did my military service in the French Navy on the helicopter carrier La Jeanne d’Arc.
During a stopover in Dubaï, i bought my first VHS-C camcorder, a JVC GR-AX800. Since that day, i always had the passion for filming, i never stopped upgrading my equipement, traveling and surfing to places like California, Australia, Indonesia, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Philippines, India and shooting locals, random and friends surfers.
In 2001, i moved to the south west of France in Bayonne/Anglet then later in Capbreton near Hossegor,
where i continued to surf and film surf events.
I first discovered Bali in 1999, i went back on the island in 2001 and since 2017, i have been coming back to Indonesia every year.
I have been to many places and surf spots in Bali, Sumbawa, Java, Sumatra, Simeulue, Mentawai, Telos, Hinako, Nias and more to come…
I love this country, the people and of course the waves…

With almost 30 years of experience, my mission is to give you the best images of yourself that i can, during your surf session, whether from land or in water.
